xbox question

when playing 2k5 on my xbox its really noisy coming from the drive...it always sounds like its searching for something on the disc when i come up to the line of scrimmage...then gets quiet during the play and gets noisy again...by noisy i mean a loud loading noise type of thing...is this normal or is my box gonna blow...

btw playing other games isnt as noticeable if at all...

have no idea what the dude above me said...anyway is anyone playing on an original xbox or has everyone moved onto the 360...just sounds like the xbox is trying real hard to keep up with 2k5...while other games have no problem...hasnt hindered gameplay though, its more annoying then anything.

btw playing on an original non "special" xbox i should have said.

Have you tried a different copy of the game? I know quite a few guys here still use the reg xbox so i dont think thats the issue.

no i havent...but this copy was in a brand new sealed box...good ol ebay for 1.99...maybe i making more of it then it really is...i mean there is alot of content going on during a game, maybe thats how it is...just seems like that laser is doing alot of work, while other games its not quite as much

example...while playing a quick game and berman is talking that loading noise right there is what i get alot during the game right after picking a play and right after the play is complete...any of this making sense?

I play it on my 360 and it runs real smooth havent had any problems, Other than the online is really laggy and sucks. but the franchise mode and everything else is good.
