I ran into a huge problem creating my roster and now I feel like all the work I did was for nothing. I go to create a player and it says its full? I do not understand, I been re-writing over players that were already in the game this should have not happened can someone explain this? I had 135 created players when I made atleast 20.

In game. I cannot create any more players. I made about 20 and now it says 135 and can't click anymore. I have one of Puja's rosters and when I go to Create-A-Player the slot goes to like 567 and you can still make more players! What happen?

Are you trying to go over 54 players .. thats the max on each team.. are using practice squad players?

I think puja created all of his players in the editor and not in game.

Plus when you use the last name only option, those players turn into caps.

CRAP ok, i'll just do it over - it'll take an hour to get back where I was at since I am just c/ping the teams I have finished.

I was going to try this method in Franchise, but the Max only goes to 65. So what I did was randomly pick the 49ers, save the file then load it into the editor. Place 5 players on IR, then re-load the game save and then sign 5 players. Save it, load it into the editor and then take the 5 players off of IR so there would be 70 on the roster, however - I cannot find anywhere to take a player off IR in the editor. Dan7712345 mentioned that Fin took it out cause it caused Franchises to freeze

I think after I am finished with every team will I go back and give everyone their proper names just so I do not run into a problem like that again. I been re-writing over old, retired players who are unlikely to return to the NFL unless they played in the 08 season and are relevant to be a Free Agent. My rosters are 65 players on each team, excluding some players cause some rosters go up to like 80 players (IR and Practice Squad). To play my rosters in Exhibition, you will have to "Export" teams - not too much of a hassle since you only can play two teams at a time.
