Re: New ESPN NFL Football vids!

Looks like they both just used GoDaddy to register the domain name. That is godaddy's address not the person who registered it. Still very good find. There are a lot of places out there to register a domain name.

Then again this could be the cleanup phase of the viral marketing.

Sega did send a letter to everyone who got the beta, and asked for the CD back. As far as I know everyone sent them back. Beta-7 claims he did not give out the mailing addresses, but I don't see how else they would have gotten them, and I only had the game for a week.

Ooops I'm rambling.

Just to clear things up, (though I know you don't need my approval), I think you do a great job with this site steve, and I appreciate the work you put into it. I was just bothered by the seeming deception in answers to beta 7.

The only reason I accepted a copy was because I believe it to be sega doing some crazy marketing, and that is why I sent it back when they asked.

Actually that's not Godaddy's address, it's this site that lets you make your contact info private. Most people who register a domain don't do that, so it's a pretty interesting that both of those are private. I think it's just a big cover up for Sega/VC ad campaign, so they made them private. But that's just a guess.

Same Ad/marketing company behind his site.

Next we'll see "Janie" do a soft porn site to help promote.

I thought the same thing... that Beta-7 and GamerChuck were the same person...

After reading the GamerChuck opening, he has the same style of writing/talking as Beta-7.

It is like that goof on the internet that types all kinds of crap in forums and comes back a day or two later and says that his little brother was typing everything.

Also as soon as I looked at the GamerChuck website, I thought it has the same style or design of Beta-7... WEIRD...

Re: New ESPN NFL Football vids!

Who gives a crap where the video(s) come from? I know I don't.

I love the videos. The commentary sounds different. It seemed like they should've been more excited on that good run back. I guess they're saving the more exciting commentary for the playoffs. I didn't hear any old rehashed commentary either. I hope the speed of the game was set on SLOW or NORMAL because the speed seemed a tad slow to me. The field looks good. The players look way more detailed than in 2K3.
