Dont believe the hype. This is no knock on madden or espn, but it seems to me that one game seems to make strides while the other game makes little baby steps. I seems that espn/2k series has gradually made big steps in the direction of trying to improve and make better than madden. both are successful in their own right, but come on, just because you put new shoe laces in your old sneakers doesnt make them a brand new pair of shoes. Madden has been puttin new laces in for about 3 years while espn/ 2k has been makin seroius moves toward realism and authenticity. if its in the game, its on espn nfl football 2004. save your loot. building my on stadium is fun, but 1st person view, and gettin the feelin like the shiznits bein kicked out of you as derrick brooks clothelines you as you go across the middle is worth waitin for. at this stage of video game playin us fans dont want good. we want great. madden was. espn football is.

Well thats not exactly fair. They had ten years worth of EA's footsteps to follow.
