He has a gamecube, only thing I saw is trade gamecube in, not that good of a sports gaming system anyway.

Why do you have a gamecube? If you have one just for sports games, you should get an xbox. If it's for mario and starfox games I guess I can only say have fun with madden.

The poor sales do not warrent the Publication of the game...

NFL2k2 sold about 10,000 copies on the Gamecube...
NHL2k2 sold 7,000 copies...

This is at the retail price of 49.99 (US) That's sad people!

You can't blame Sega for pulling their Games..
along with several other third party developers leaving...Poor sales equal no games..

Third party games have proven to FLOP "sales wise" on the GC..Especially sports games..

You should know by now the only thing good about the GC is the Nintendo 1st party games games...

If you are a sports gamer...I feel for ya brotha..

Can you not afford an Xbox or PS2

I say you get a Xbox or PS2...and use your Gamecube for Nintendo 1st party games..

I honestly don't see many 3rd party developers sticking with Nintendo for long due to poor sales..

I hope this helps...

I can post sales numbers on 3rd party software for the GC..but I don't want to show people how bad it really is for 3rd party developers on the GC... or start a debate...

I recommend the Xbox personally...

Well I got a gamecube because my brother, at the time, already had a ps2, and xbox was 300 and I didn't know if it was going to be good or not. I also went gamecube because I'm one of those MarioKart and MarioGolf addicts (just picked up the new MarioGolf today and I must say it's pretty sweet) and Zelda's pretty damn fun too.

I understand poor sales means that they won't release the games the next year, I think I actually included that in my original post, but if I didn't, I meant to.

However people it is all good. My roomate this year has an xbox, so I will be purchasing ESPN NFL football and I will still have MarioKart (when it comes out) and MarioGolf (and NCAA football), quite possibly gaming heaven.

Speaking of buying the demo. Where can I do this? I would love to have the demo as I don't have Madden but have played it sparingly and am not feeling it this year. I am loving NCAA though.

I bought mine at Safeway for $9.73 in the OPM. If you have an Xbox, get the OXM.
