buying a 360 for the nfl 2k5?

In the OPs case, price wasn't an issue... he decided to get a 360 because of Sony's security problems, and THEN was asking questions about 2k5.

I am not sure how much better 2k5 would play on a 360, and I am thinking about buying one, but for 2k8..
I have tried maybe a hundred times to try and like 2k5 (PS2) but I just cant.. the onfield gameplay just is soo goofy.. I guess If your getting it to do lots of editing for franchise and to sim it could be ok.. But to play it game by game.. Na Give me 2k8...
