Xbox for me, but it sucks cause TCrouch is going for the PS2 version and I won't get to play him this year, and he's an awesome person to play a game of football with.

The league thing has changed everything. I have had the xbox version preordered for 3 months now. However, I might switch if enough of my friends do.

i'd go with ps2 because of online leagues and a better controller for sports games imo.

Why? Just because they have online leagues? There are better reasons to get a game. Xbox is still the way to go.

That is the initial reaction, especially for me. Now if it were not on XBL at all, then that would be a "game killer". PS2 will have online leagues, but how will the game RUN ON PS2. I didn't like it on PS2 last year. When I bought the xbox version and gave it a chance I loved it. There will still be online leagues, just doing it the old-fashion way.
