well, besides the fact that VC has stated many times, that xbox will not have leagues, should be proof enough.

also i believe that with gamespot complete, you can see an interview with Jeff Thomas of VC, where he states AGAIN.. that the leagues will not be available for the xbox version.

oh and heres your link...

On xbox.com under the features list for ESPN NFL the advanced online features are listed as follows.....

Advanced online play: Take your game online via Xbox Live with fast head-to-head play, downloadable rosters, chat, USB keyboard support, and more.

http://www.xbox.com/en-us/espnnflfootball/default.htm

And more? what else could it be????
Online leagues......

How would the xbox have USB keyboard support, I guess you'd need to buy that adapter.

first off, its Jeff Thomas in the gamespot vid, not Geg Thomas. << shows how well you payed attention to the video.

also, i said "i believe". as in "i believe thats where i heard a developer say it." but it very well could have been the the ign interview, or the Pigskin Preview, or maybe even the Greg Thomas Q & A interview from one of the ESPN sites. but im quite sure ive seen it in one way or another confirmed by a VC developer or spokesperson.

they will NOT have online league support for XBox on release. thats not saying they eventually wont allow them, but come wednesday, there will be NO leagues for XBox.

and gamespot is notorious for putting Screenshots in the wrong places. look at the Need for Speed:Underground pics. Do those look like PS2 screens to you? well they arent...they are the pc screens. How screwed is that? Not to mention putting XBox ESPN screens in the PS2 section also.

if im wrong, i will be glad to come back here and post how ignorant i was to the idea of XBox leagues, and you can ridicule me, and pick me apart all ya want.

i would just hate for you guys to get your hopes up, then feel screwed when it turns out that there actually arent any official XBox leagues available.
