Editing Classic Teams - Major Disappointment

Don't get your hopes up about editing classic teams:
1) You can only put the name on the back of the jersey, not the full name
2) If you put a space in the name, it gets all 'weird'. For example, I put "Mark Rypien" in (91 Skins) for the QB, and then I put in 'Earnest Byner' for the HB. When I started a game, I had 'Mark RypienEarnest Byner' at QB and #21 at HB.
3) You can ONLY edit number and name. You CANNOT edit position, appearance, etc.
4) The in-game manual says you can only edit 125 players. So, you can't edit ALL the classic teams at once...

It's terrible. I did the 75 Steelers and Jack Ham was black. Only 125? That means 2 maybe 3 teams. That's horrrrrrrible! Hopefully next year they'll do it the way Madden does. Even if it gives the MFers (Madden fan-boys) more ammunition.

yeah, that sucks big time. I guess it'll be Madden for classic teams this year.

im with you on this one...i was really looking forward to this only to be let down.....probably my only complaint about the game

man with the great player models i wanted to bring back the 86 Giants...at least LT looks good

well atleast i can have my 84 & 72 Phins....and maybe one other team or two...

Maybe next year....put the last names in the data base...get all of the skin tones correct and allow complete editing.

I know it's a lot of work but I could do that myself with one assistant in 6 weeks.

Compile the lists that is, not necessarily program it.
