Anyone sim a season yet?

I simmed a season last night, and I have to say the free agent and draft features are great, also so is the Email feature. I got a message from my owner about 3 players that he felt I should try to go after on the free agent market. I tried to get these guys by making reasonable offers and lost all 3. I tried matching or exceeding other offers, but still lost all 3. Very realistic. I also noticed in the draft, the Email told me what players we should hope to get in what round. Saw a lot of teams going after what they needed in the draft and not just the best player available. All in all it seems that you can't just build a powerhouse francise in a 1-2 years, like the other popular football console game with the fat man in the broadcast booth.
