maybe you should have split this up between PS2 and Xbox.

i believe the freeze is also happening on the PS2 but i could be wrong

For Xbox users experiencing this, I'm posting this reply on very thread where it applies, so bear with me:

CONFIRMED!

To all those getting lock-ups on your Xboxes following online matches, the key is indeed to turn off the Dolby Digital options in your Xbox control panel. Every game I had played online had locked up at the end when I went to exit. Today I made the necessary changes to my Audio Setup and exited fine from my match back to the Main Menu!

I don't know whose [censored you naughty boy] up this was, but it's real irritating for those of us who have Dolby Digital home theater systems and enjoy the playing the game that way. Plus, you gotta keep going back to your control panel afterwards to set everything back.

I really hope they work around this somehow.

i have the ps2 version and my game takes forever just to even come on i thought i had a bad disc any way and when i sim to end it freezes i just won a playoff game and their was 40 seconds left and i knew i won so i simmed the end thats the second time it has occurred
