I wonder what's taking so long. This can't be good news. I can see it now.
"Sorry, we decided to remove that feature for the retail verson."
They then have the whole weekend to hide from this.

They can't and won't do that man

Re: THIS IS A SEROIUS FLAW

Who found out & how did they find out that 720 was not active in ESPN? IE..does your TV tell you what format it is in? Did somebody announce it? Or is this just another fuss about how some TVs w/o 720p do not upconvert? The only flaw I noticed is that before the snap you last names on jerseys are blurry & pixelated.

Re: THIS IS A SEROIUS FLAW

Bro there was a thread locked on this yesterday. Go back a day or so and look. 720P should lock onto fullscreen on HD tv's but on this game it doesn't. You can change it to stretch, zoom, full , cinema mode or whatever. Hence the game isnt in 720P just 480P.

Not only is the aspect ratio fixed, but the video quality would be at such a higher level, it would be easily noticeable. Like World Series Baseball.

Would the aspect ratio be fixed if your tv has to upconvert it to 1080i? And will it look even better than now even if it has to upconvert the signal?
