Does the CPU adjust to your playcalling better on Legend difficulty?

Thought maybe this should go in one of the stickies, but it didn't quite fit. In my franchise with the Jets, I just noticed that I can pretty much run the ball at will from the quad formation. I can call it all game, and the CPU defense will only show me Nickel and Dime defenses. I'm sure I could bump up the sliders so that they could tackle me better, but the problem seems to lie more with the CPU's inability to adjust. Curtis Martin just torched the Bills for 447 yeards rushing with 8-minute quarters.
