Hi all, have downloaded the 1985 roster and franchise files for the xbox version and played week 1 game all fine. But when trying to sim the rest of games of week1 the game freezes. Any solutions would be great...

I'll look into it. Is it something that's happened more than once? I generally sim those over and over to check for freezing. I know I've played that year through without fail, but I'll look at it again.

If you have the ability to use the editor, try upping the salary cap by 5 million. I noticed there are teams in the negative before the season begins.

Are you controlling all teams?

No, just the one, the Bears is the team Im controlling when it happens to me. Will download the editor and try upping the cap. I also have Ricksters 2011-2012 franchise installed and at the end of season during draft picks with it set on auto it also freezes with me needing to reboot xbox. Thanks for your help and if you can help me anymore with the freezes I thank you in advance...Have also noticed with the 2011-2012 franchise theres no team select at beggining just control off all teams, is there a way to alter this, sorry about all the Qs all at once....

That could be the problem. If you control just the one team, the other teams will makes moves that could affect a cap they don't have. You may want to just leave all teams under user control and only play the Bears games.

Dear Everybody!

I have some problem with my ps2 ESPN 2k5 game.

I play franchise. After some match the game always freezes when I get the ball. ( get the ball = after kick off or punt, first possession! )

Is it a bug or my reader lens is old?

I'm having an issue with starting a franchise with any downloaded (PS2) rosters. It just freezes at the screen where it asks you if you want to continue w/o saving. Is there any fix? I'm thirsty to play with vintage Barry Sanders in franchise mode. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have read a lot about 2k5 freezing problems and lot of people have a common problem with NFL2k5.
Is there any solution?
Can we pretend this freezing problem?
