Falcons, year 1 complete.....

-Finished the season 8-8 and lost to Seattle in the first round of the playoffs.
-Vick threw for 2900yds and rushed for 400. He only threw 10 Td's, and had 21 Int's.

-Falcons signed FA Randall Godfrey and now have Brooking and Godfrey at the ILB position. Team Defense rating is a 93 for the 2004 season.

-Falcons signed rookie WR Reggie Williams.
-Falcons signed Safety Dexter Reid
-Duckett's overall rating went from an 84 to 86, Dunn's stayed at 82. I still run better with Dunn though.

-Ravens signed rookie QB Eli Manning. They will be a complete team now with a good QB, RB and defense.

-Jets signed rookie RB Greg Jones. It appears he wil be the starter over the older Curtis Martin.

-Rich Gannon, Tim Brown and Jerry Rice all retired after the 03 season. Raiders signed rookie WR Roy Williams.

-Cowboys let Hambrick go to Free Agency and now have Robert Edwards as RB. Also, Q. Carter is still the QB.

The new and improved D faced Dallas in game #1 of the 2004 Season. Dallas drove down field and scored right away for an early 7-0 lead. Then they were shut down as ATL dominated offensively and Defensively for a 42-7 victory.

Cool how you got the Class of 04 in the game. How did you throw so many INT's with Vick ??

I suppose he had been healthy all year ...

Was it a pain to edit all the rookies? I am thinking about just editing the top 5-10 at each position, except lineman. I'm not far enough in my franchise to start editing the rookies yet. I've started over 6 times, due to slider adjustments, etc.

Re: Falcons, year 1 complete.....

I only edited about 10 rookies, just the big names. I don't know many college players anyway. I waited till the season was over before editing the rookies. I did about 5 RB's, 5 Wr's, 2 qbs , 1 TE and 1 Safety.

I threw that many INT's with Vick by running around and throwing the ball instead of staying in the pocket.

I don't see the humor in that.

Anyways, a little info about my draft. I traded Chad Hutchinson and Genaro Dinapoli to the Chargers for their #2 overall pick. I resigned Troy Hambrick and traded he and someone else (I forget) to the Patriots for their #3 overall pick. I was wanting to take Greg Jones with the 2nd pick but Arizona took him first and the guy went for 150 in his first game. Anyways, with the 2nd and 3rd picks, I took Kevin Jones of Virginia Tech and Kellen Winslow of Miami. Other big names I took were Tommie Harris, DT from OU and Dontarrious Thomas, LB from Aubrun. I cut Tony Romo, signed A.J. Feeley in free agency to back up Quincy, and drafted Cody Pickett (for some reason some good QB's were still left in the 4th round) Pickett came in rated higher than Feeley. Feeley and Al Singleton are on the trade block.

Notables:

Clarence Farmer RB from Zona went to the 49ers
Philip Rivers QB from NC State went to Denver
BJ Johnson WR from Texas went to Tampa Bay
Lee Evans WR from Wisconsin went to the Chargers
DJ Williams LB from Miami went to the Chiefs
Frank Gore RB from Miami stayed home and went to the Fish
Cedric Benson RB from Texas went to Philly
Rod Davis LB from Southern Miss went to the Giants
Micheal Jenkins WR from Ohio St. went to the Jets
Braylon Edwards WR from Michigan went to the Lions
Steven Jackson RB from Oregon St went to the Lions
Micheal Boulware from Florida St. went to the Packers
Mewelde Moore RB from Tulane went to the Panthers
Rashaun Woods WR from Oklahoma St. went to the Panthers
Karlos Dansby LB from Auburn went to the Rams
Jared Lorenzen QB from Kentucky went to the Ravens (all 270)
Roy Williams WR from Texas also went to the Ravens
Cadillac Williams RB from Auburn went to the Skins
Anthony Davis RB from Wisconsin went to the Saints
Reggie Williams WR from Washington went to the Seahawks

That about does it. Sorry for taking over your thread Heel. Anyways, the only player that retired from the Raiders in 03 was Jerry Rice in my franchise.

I knew you would like the Cowboy comment.

I think Hambrick was signed my New England in my season too.

My second year as the Boys I also released Hambrick and managed to grab a Killer RB named Micheal Kim from Kent State with the 3rd overall draft pick. This guy is unfriggenbelieveable; so far in week 6 he already has over 1,000 yards rushing. Watch for him if your still in your first year.......
