A VERY ODD observation...anyone play the DEMO CD and the RETAIL CD?

Recently I have been growing a bit bored of ESPN the last few days....I was falling into a routine in which I felt every game was feeling too similar, Like running certain plays seemed to keep yielding the same results for me and I was starting to feel a repetitious pattern like sensation with the game so I needed to take a break....

...So oddly, I loaded the DEMO ESPN game from the XBOX Magazing and started playing it and noticed some differences about the gameplay, player models, even ball physics that gave me a guilty pleasurable feeling that I almost preffered playing it more then my current retail copy of ESPN. I know this may sound very strange to some because it was basically an older build but there was just something about the gameplay that felt a bit more enjoyable for me

Can anyone at all respond to this?....Am I simply out of my mind?

It could be the fact that the demo gave only two teams to choose and maybe
along with the teams formation and plays (which really was limited). That
could mean the difference in feel and result? You tell me.

When it becomes boring to you, it's time to make a couple slider adjustments to make it harder for your routine plays to yield you the same results.

I haven't gone back and played the demo disk as you have, but I will tell you this...when I first loaded the real game I thought to myself how different looking and feeling it actually was from the demo...something changed..in some way, shape, or form...it just looks and feels different...

thats the exact feeling I got when I reloaded the DEMO right after playing the RETAIL.....its a very weird feeling cause the gameplay, physics, player models, camera angle all feel a bit different. The wierd part is I think I enjoy the demo a little better, but Im not really sure why. I kinda like the deep pass arcs more....in the retail, throwing deep just doesnt feel right. Throwing passes deep downfield dont really feel any different then throwing them 15 yards....they are like line drive rockets. I prefer the more realistic lofting touch you could put on the ball in the demo compared to the one in the retail....However, Im still not really sure if that's the reason.

I urge anyone who has the DEMO CD to load it up and play it and try to see what I mean.

I'm not trying to be rude, but I honestly think you look for negatives in this game just to start up a conversation. I went back and checked out the last 5 or so threads you started for this game and they were all to discuss something you didn't like.

Post something you enjoy about the game.

what is it with people who analyize video games. Keep it up while I enjoy mine.

p.s. The demo sucks compared to the real thing

I think pointing out the negatives and positives of a game as we see is good conversation. If I pointed out a negative, a differening opinion might be able to help me see it in different light.
