Life imitating art?

One of the biggest complaints about NFL2K prior to this year was how the defenders could dive 5 yards to get a tackle and how unrealistic it was. Well, while watching halftime highlights of the Denver-KC game I saw a Denver defender make a huge dive after Trent Green while he was throwing a TD pass. And that was the first thought in my head.

And to the thread starter, sure... you've seen it, but you've only seen it ONCE. They don't dive like that every time. You gotta remember that.

Of course I've seen it once. That's why it caught my attention and made me want to share it with everybody. If it were a frequent occurance I wouldn't have made this thread and no one would've complained about it being in the game in the first place. I mean DUH, like, HELLO?

I think the jump rating should determine how far they can dive tackle for defensive players and how high the WRs can jump for the ball on offense.
