I get sooooooo much satisfaction out of holding a RB thusly holding and offense that playing offense myself is no longer fun. I still play it cause you gotta play to win games but defense is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun.

Well, If ya think your good enough to win with just Defense.. Don't play offense. Simply select the play that the CPU wants you to run... That should make things fair..

I think that if you can play sound defense (and you can play some offense yourself), you'll beat an all-offense player almost every time. Do I select CPU plays? No. Do I regularly beat people with defense? Definitely. Most of the staff and regulars would attest to that fact.

All I was saying, If you can pretty much win just with your defense, and you don't like playing offense.. You might find the game more interesting if you just call your defense, and let the CPU pick your offensive play's.. It might be a little harder to win..

I was also thinking that this was Human vs CPU.. I didn't know you were talking Human to Human.

I do agree that it would be interesting. Matter of fact, when my offense struggles sometimes, I'll go to the CPU-plays for a series or two. It usually throws my opponent off long enough to get it back in gear. It's useful as a shakeup tactic if nothing else.

I never let the CPU call a defensive play, though. I think my defensive coordinator is an idiot...calling full blitzes or 4 deep zones half the time.
