I am playing 5 minute quarters in ESPN, but it doesn't seem to be the "same" as Madden on 5 minute quarters. Has anyone timed a game on both games (or averaged it out)? What should I put ESPN on?

Simulated clock: 4 minutes
Playing clock: 9-10 minutes

BTW I don't skip any replays, cutscenes, etc. on those times.

So you play the game on 4 mins? I was thinking of going up to 6 minutes.

No, the simmed games are 4 minutes, he plays 9-10 minute quarters.

I always play 5 min quarters on Madden and the stats seem to come out just right. However, on NFL 2K4 w/ 5 mins in the quarters, my stats aren't that great. I just wanted to see if anyone had timed games w/ Madden and NFL 2K4 and seen what matches up w/ what.

Well, see, the only reason I see all the cutscenes and stuff, and why I don't play 5 or 6 minutes, is because I can't turn fatigue off on the game. If I could, all of my games would be shorter and stuff.
