Player progression question

While lookin at the player progression after week 3, I noticed most of my key guys on offense (I'm the chargers) like LT, Boston, Travis Taylor & Todd Heap (traded for) have taken a hit in Stamina and Durability. All 4 of them are at least -1 or -2 in both categories. Is this gonna be a continuing trend the rest of the season? Am I gonna have guys with less than 20 stamina by the end of the season?

Naw you should be okay. Is your defense having problems stopping offenses? It also helps to win a few games to get your ratings up on some of your players. I don't know what formula VC uses but you really don't see any big leaps until the offseason. You'll see 1-3 point drops and gains during the season but offseason you can see players get 5-10 point gains or drops.

Re: Player progression question

my rookie RB was 85 mid season he dropped to 77, he had the most rushing yards as well, so that of course pissed me off, but after about 4 games he went back up to 85 so on top of rushing of course

Re: Player progression question

I usually see that happen when I don't play players during the preseason.

Re: Player progression question

well I had one that just doesn't make any sense.

I traded to Cleveland for Lee Suggs during my first season. I think he was rated a 71. Anyway, after my first season, Suggs was still a 71 and I traded Troy Hambrick away and drafted Michael Turner out of Northern Illinois. Turner was rated a 74 and Suggs was a 71 so I started Turner in my second season and he had a great rookie year. Almost 1100 yards and 3.8 YPC. Suggs, on the other hand was used as a backup and got about 300 yards for the season.

I noticed during my last few games, that Turner had dropped to a 69 and Suggs had risen to a 77. That baffled the heck out of me. Anyway, the season ended and I saw no more change in player progression at all. But the bigger question is why does a guy that as a rookie and gain 1100 yards drop and a guy that only had 300 yards increase by 6 points? And no, injuries were not a factor at all in this.

Another question is how often and when is player progression calcualted? Someone said after every 4 games and someone said only at the end of the preseason and regular season. It looks very random to me so I'd like to know exactly when to look for it.

Go to front office and it should be there. Only after your first season though.

Only during the first 2 or 3 weeks of the beginning of the season.
