I'd say the PS2 is better, mainly because of its symmetry and how they don't have black and white buttons for jukes.

Re: analog vs s controller

I've gotten so used to the controller S on the box, that it really feels like second nature to me. Even using the right stick and black and white buttons has become really easy for me.

I agree. The Controller S just feels really comfortable in my hands. I've never really liked the analog stick placement on the PS2 controller, whereas the controller-s seems much more natural for me.

Re: analog vs s controller

The original U.S. Xbox controller was too BIG.
The PS2 Dual Shock controller is too small.
The Xbox controller S is just right.

Althought the controller S would be the perfect controller if it had 6 full size face buttons instead of the 4 and small black & white buttons.

You don't use the white and black buttons for jukes. What are you talking about?

Re: analog vs s controller

I just can't stand playing sports games with the S-controller anymore. I only use my XBOX for non-sports games unless I use the ps2 converter. I would rather use the PS2 controller than use the S-controller with my XBOX & HDTV. It's that bad IMO. Everything else on the XBOX is superior.

Re: analog vs s controller

Actually you can have you jukes on the black/white buttons. ESPN has both a power running setup and finese running setup. The default setup is the finese setup where you use the triggers for the jukes and the black/white buttons for stiff arms. The next alternate setup is the power running setup where the triggers are stiff arms and the black/white buttons are your jukes.
