With the toys r us deal I couldn't find a free game to get so I decided to get ESPN, I've had Madden since the day it came out and love it. I've wanted ESPN to play online but I still don't have XBOX live, is it possible to own and play both or should I not open it and wait until something else i want comes out and trade it in? Thanks for your opinions.

i play both. i have a cousin who doesn't have espn yet and when i go to his house i play madden. i like both games, neither is a bad game, i just like espn a little better. due to online play, i think the graphics look more realistic. madden's models have a puppet feel to them, but it goes with the type of game it is. i like the fact that you can use the playmaker to switch a play to the opposite side without the players moving. like i said, both are good and can both be played in the same household. also if you open espn you have a free 2 month trial inside for x-box live so check it out. that is of course if you have cable or dsl.

Well i decided to open it and the first person mode is really cool but very hard, i haven't tried normal mode yet and yes I have DSL but can't figure out how to set it up, it says it can't connect. Can anyone help?? Thanks in advance.

i'm not computer savy but you have to make your settings go to auto. it reads you ip address and puts you on. again i'm not computer savy. anybody....

I did that but its not working, do i have to have it hooked up to my computer and my modem at the same time? Because I just have it hooked up directly from the modem to the xbox.

i guess i need to put in the dns and ip adress numbers but i dont know how to find these....

Try unplugging your modem completely when you switch between ps2 and xbox. Then wait for it reset and plug it in Xbox. I think you have to do this every time you switch between the 2.
