What do you think the largest improvement will be in next years game?

A few gameplay tweaks and more animations, and a better create a player would be pretty sweet. Um and better stat tracking would make me VERY happy!

There needs to be more tackling animations, deeper franchise mode with a smarter GM A.I. for the computer so they dont draft to QB's back to back, and a career mode!

Scanning through the previous entries, (as long as this looks like a wish list) I don't recall this being mentioned much, but the Kick Return Defense, for the A.I., kinda sucks. So many backup offensive players with basically no tackling skill, trying to tackle speed demons with moderately high break tackle skills lead to a lot KickOff Return TDs.
In the same vein, if you sub out players that the A.I. puts in your special teams slot, eg. pull my 3rd string HB out of the CB slot, you are required to put in a CB. Fine, but when a play calls for 3 or 4 CB's to defend the return to begin with, the problem becomes that your starters have to play KickOff coverage. That in itself isn't so bad, but, what if it's late in the game and the score is close and the A.I. kicks into the speed-demon no-huddle offense... when your DB's are already tired/fatigued from playing kick return coverage. I've had this happen, and it is sad.

Granted, there are tons of other things to hope for, lot's of things to tweak, etc. such as this.
As long as they tweak stuff and such, I'll be happy. This year's football game was the best console game ever, IMO, and while I'd like to see some stuff altered and added, I'm concerned with them changing the mix too much, for the worse, to appease Madden fans, etc. I'm sure that many of you who are fans of this year's game know exactly what I mean.

anybody else think or hope the player models are better next year? Right now they seem way to generic in terms of player builds. All the qbs are built the exact same way. No flak jackets, towels, or handwarmer pouches to aceesorize or distinguish them. Kickers are all buff. All the fat linemen look like they're hiding plasma televisions under their Jerseys. Everybody has alligator arms.

I mean I love this game but the player models have got to be better. lol! u know whats funny...I said all that...but still think espnfl has the best player models out there. lol! Its kinda like lookin at a bunch of rotten *** apples and sayin "This one has fewer worms and mold than the rest. I think its the best one."
