Here we go again. Some of you guys just don't give up. Why the HELL do you care anyway? Let it rest. SEGA isn't going anywhere. They're not gonna STOP making games.. PS2 ESPN College Hoops - 28,358
There's one other game that isn't on the list but it's a non sports Sega game (Rez, which is at a little over 16K)
That list is the total sales for all the games Sega has released for the PS2/Xbox/Gamecube that I believe is current up to Febuary 4, 2004. Also, keep in mind that a lot of the sales for the 2k3 games were made at discount prices, that I can show here. You'll see that really only ESPN NBA is far off last year's sales pace when taken into account the game prices. The longer a game stays full price before going into discounts the more healthier the sales. NFL2k3 was ofcourse overshipped which is why it goes for less than 10$ at most places. All I want is for Sega to get their fair share, but it seems they aren't, and it's affecting the actual quality of their games. That and Sega/VC has no confidence that making sim games can sell, which explains their confused target audience. So many people want games to look real, but not really play real, even on this board.

Wow. I would have been thrown off these forums if I would have let THIS fly 6 months ago. The Mods must like you solja. You're still here.

Back on topic, I too would like reassurance that NFL2k will be around for many years to come. The only way to do that is to constantly suggest ways to improve the game, and most importantly, BUY the game year after year. My $48.43 anxiously awaits in my pocket for NFL2k5! Woo! Woo!
