I think they need to show more than a face i mean how many casuals know the player faces? They should go back to the old style but keep the black backround to seperate them from EA.

I agree, not everyone recognizes players by their faces, especially since they're always wearing helmets. This was just for fun though.

A lot of people know who steve mcnair is or jeremy shockey. Most of the casual fans know the stars faces and that's the only people that go on covers. I hope they keep this style and don't go back to the old ugly cover they used to have for 2k3.

To each, his own--- I think the new ones are somewhat less recognizable for the casual fan, but then again, isn't ESPN for the more hardcore fan? Personally, regardless of whether they're less recognizable, the new covers are much more dramatic, and I prefer them.

Good effort NYG. However, if you were going to do spec work for fun, why not go all out and design a layout that is different from last year's ESPN NFL Football cover art? ESPN's cover art was not very creative and should not have been used as a springboard for a new cover layout. I am sure you are capable of much more than this.
