No wait n' see apporach here. I already know pretty much what ESPN 2005 is bringing to the table. I'm buyin it as soon as hits stores. I would pre-order but I don't trust that sh*t anymore.

Wait and see is always good, but traditionally, the football games have had the least amount of problems over the years.

Re: Wait and See approach!!

No way I'm taking the wait and see approach. I take the day off work every year and love waking up to the fed ex guy ringing my doorbell at 9:30 a.m. with the game. I just wish it would come out on a Friday, so it would make for a great long weekend. I know what VC is bringing to the table, and I wouldn't have the patience to wait even if I was a newcomer to the series.

Wait for NFL2k5? Are you SERIOUS? NO WAY I could wait! It is torture enough waiting until September every year to SEE the title in stores.

No waiting from this NFL2ker.

Re: Wait and See approach!!

I first read reviews from magazines and then from any forums I can find about the game. Then I give the game a rental. If the jury is still out, I will keep it the second week to give it further testing time. If I am still interested in it after the second week then I will usually buy it. It keeps my library of games smaller but full of quality, and saves me a ton of money.

The only game in recent memory that I bought without renting first was NCAA 2004. However, depending on how the reviews go, I might give both NCAA and ESPN a blind buy this year.
