Espn using a variant of fever\'s graphics engine?

A guy on 2kx posted an article (for some reason now its just a fact sheet) and it talked about how espn was using a variant of fever's graphics engine. And here ae a few quotes from the article.

Looks way better than fever to me. A variant? Like the players have 2 legs, 2 arms, and 1 head? Thats about all they have in common.

I think that espn's graphics look better too (of course, I'm a fanboy)but I think they meant that some of the little things in fever will follow over to espn.

What does this mean? Competing against celebs? Does that mean we will have to catch Ray Romano when he is playing online, challenge him to a game, and beat him in order to unlock the velvet Shannon Sharpe painting in our Crib?
