I wouldn't go that far. If I want to play a game of ESPN NFL 2005 online, I'd just jump into a game. I wouldn't scout the player first. Besides, by the time you finish scouting, the game won't be available anymore.

Good point. At least you'll be able to scout the big boys--- the top 20 or so.

I think the most conventional uses for this would be if you want to scout a friend, someone in your league/tournament, or you feel like playing someone human-like but don't have enough time to finish a whole game.

i remember in the days of 2k1--i would play in practice over n over..just to play some of my invincble friends the next day....for money..this is like practicing for them..but u sare actually practicing against their tendacies...like virtua fighter 4 evo--super sweet!!!!!

Good point about the ingame saves..hope they make it in.

This Virtual Scouting thing could be awesome for leagues. Playing guys ever Saturday or so, you could use the whole week to practice. Actually, that's pretty unbelievable now that I think about it. Maybe it's been suggested by smarter minds than mine before, but I'm just glad that kind've thing could now be a reality. If they pull this off, kudos VC.
