Graphics comparisons

I'm sorry OS'ers I had to do it. It seems this year no one seems to talk about how "different" ESPN & Maddens graphics are. No need to start a flame war.There just opinions w/o words only pics.

I don't know if this comparison is really supposed to be here in this forum, but I do know that one of ESPN's pics are wrong. The Williams pic, don't the Dolphins have white jerseys at home?

yes, and what about them? they both look good, madden really using the ps2 grahic engine and espn using the xbox grahic engine, but at the end espn does look better, way better, but madden is try

why the hell are the arms HUGE in madden, it look like Ray Lewis hay tree logs for arms in that screen shot, what's up with that.

not the Dolphins, I live in Ft. Lauderdale and they usually wear white because of the extreme heat. On a night game, they will wear the darks. ESPN has always been wrong on this for some reason unfortunately. That is the one thing I do like about Madden, plus Madden will have the baseball diamond on the field at the Dolphins pro-player stadium the first half of the year, which the Marlins play at. That is soooo cool, and I do hope ESPN puts that in this year. Still, even if they don't, it's a small price to pay for a great football game

Yes, the diamond needs to be in. I remember Madden 98 having this (for some reason they took it out in 99 ).

And yeah, that's what I meant about the jerseys. The Dolphins, Cowboys, Chargers, and I think at least one other team... was it the Redskins?

Anyways, I wish that ESPN added the diamonds a while back, when Qualcomm Stadium and 3Comm Park had baseball teams there. However, other stadiums like Three Rivers Stadium, Veterans Stadium, and The Kingdome removed whatever dirt they had. H.H.H. Metrodome still does that, too. Now, the Network Associates Coliseum and Pro Player Stadium are the only two that keep the diamonds until baseball season is over.

home team picks what uniform they want to use, most use light color when it's still hot. The panthers wore white jerseys probably 10-12 times last year, because they wore them at home during the heat, and then ended up wearing them on the road against the Saints and Falcons for sure.
