EB last week had NCAA on Monday night for those who pre-ordered it.
Now I called and asked if they would do that for ESPN 2K5 but they had not decided yet.
They said they WILL do it for MADDEN, but it all depends on the number of pre-orders they get for ESPN whether they do it for espn or not.

I will be unhappy to say the least if they do not let me pick it up Monday night...

The world is full of MADDENITES...they could pre-sell only 20 copies of MADDEN and I bet they would stay open late for those people!!

The game doesn't SHIP until the 20'th, but i would bet if they are looking to have an in store date of the 21'st then it is possible they would start shipping on friday...just a thought...

Well NCAA did not "ship" until the 13th but they had it on the 12th!

Nah NCAA was scheduled to ship on the 12th, but a few places sent it out that Friday before so that's why some preorders had it early.

I called my local Gamestop in Appleton, WI to see if they were going to do a late-night pickup like they do for Madden, and they said no. I also asked if there was much buzz for the game, more preorders than last year, considering the new angle Sega and TakeTwo are using this year, and he said yes. But when I asked him what the ratio of preorders was between Madden and 2K5, it was about 10-1, Madden's favor.

I'd hate to see what it was last year then.

NCAA was supposed to ship on the 12th and did except for ebgames.com.

ESPN ships on the 20th, so chances are most people will get it the 21st, and then some people might get it the night of the 20th.

That is where I preordered NFL 2k5...maybe I should call EB and see if they are going to get it early.
