Made it so X (PS2) switches players for us X-Maddeners! I can't get used to the O and I keep f'ing up!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you went into the control options and checked if there is something you like better? Just a suggestion. Glad you are enjoying it though! To be honest I would probably get bot if I could afford it, but I can't, and it's a bizzle switching back and forth due to the control difference.

man is that screwing me up too. i'm getting lit up on defense because i keep fumbling to find the right button to switch defenders.

i tried, sega doesn't have this as an option. you think they would have had a "carbon copy of madden" option. oh well, it takes time i guess

What you have to do is change your control scheme in Madden/NCAA to Alternate and get used to it there. It's almost the same as ESPN. I did this a long time ago and it works out great. To me, it just makes more sense to have sprint be the same button on offense & defense, plus, it's easier to hit B, then Y quickly to defend a pass than it is to hit A, then Y.
