A Few "Coach Mode" Tidbits

Guys, it's pretty much the same as last year. There's no "on the fly" Defense commands ie. LB Blitz,no highlight icons to command anything. They will throw deep tho, and with a few slider formulas,it should be ok...I'll find a formula!

Still no way to "force" your guy to fair catch the ball on a punt. That drives me crazy, since they never do it on their own.
Are you able to double team on the fly? I thought I saw that you could.

you can audible on defense but not on offense thats weird? that sucks ....o well the game is still best on coach mode which iswat i play the most. its hard to run though. clintportis was havin a hard time on the bucs defense. 22 carries for 58. Motown, please work on sliders for us coaches.

Anyone find any sliders for coaching mode yet that work well?? I se all these sliders for the other way of playing but can not find anything for us coaching people

It seems on default sliders there are problems with too many dropped balls and low completion % by CPU. I'm surprised not a lot of people has complained about it since everybody and their momma is complaining about it in NCAA 2005.

I believe the y button is for fair catch on punts. I do it all the time, I just can't remember the button. It's the top one on the right side of the controller.

You can call defeinsive audibles in Coach Mode. You can also make your defenders double up on a player. What you do is pull the trigger or button that will show the button assignments above the heads of your players. I cant remember which button does which but one will show your CB's and Safetys and the other will show your Linebackers. You press the button of the man you want to give a new assignment, after doing so you will see the button symbols appear above the offensive players, you just push the button of the offensive player that you want your defender that you selected earlier to cover.
