CPU Running

Hey guys,

I'm having some odd results playing against the CPU. The CPU just doesn't seem to want to run the ball. It doesn't matter which team (Tried teams with both bad and good running backs) or coaches (Like Mike Shanahan who is 50% Run/50% Pass)

For every 2 runs, it passes about 10 times. However, the game just started. The computer is not down. They are even having success running the damn ball when they do run it. It is just odd that it is on a 20/80 run/pass ratio for me.

What could be causing this? I would understand if I was up 30-0 but I'm not... Help me out guys.

Wow, you got me. I haven't had that problem. What level are you playing on? Did you try to insert your VIP, a VIP coach or a run heavy VIP that you created onto the CPU team?

I haven't seen this either. I just played against Houston with the Giants and Davis had about 20-25 carries for the Texans (on 8 minute quarters). They were down by 7 with less than 2:00 to go and still ran here and there and tied the game up.

VIP and overall team defensive rating affect the running game

play a 76 team...you'll run big

play an 86...your gonn have to mix up your playing calling for a hole to develop
