The whole purpose of preseason is to look at your new guys, backups, and rookies in actual playing time, and for whatever reason since they put it in, ESPN's CPU doesn't sub out. So, I turn off preseason games because due to that they practically serve no purpose.

I usually never play them, but they are now awesome to try out differnt combos for your weekly prep!

I agree, its a good time to check out which combo of game preps work. But its a double edged sword. You can use it to get a really good game prep plan set up for when the regular season starts.. BUT also you run the risk of someone getting hurt in pre-season. I will take that chance because thats REAL FOOTBALL.

I was also wondering if they took into account a preseason practice schedule for preseason too, because teams are on much different practice schedules in the preseason than in the regular season. I've noticed they didn't take that into account as well. I'm more interested in the actual games than weekly prep now anyway. I'm doing a Charger franchise so I can't afford to lose any points
