Players come back worse after injuries???

I don't know if I'm not remembering correctly but my FB had a 70 rating before he was out 8 weeks with a torn calf muscle. Then, I played him a week before he was fully healed at 68. And, it appears that he won't go back up to 70 now no matter what I do in weekly prep.

Well I imagine his speed is down a little bit, probably his break tackle and agility as well. Work on those areas specifically during the week.

OMG, it happened again. Deshaun Foster was at 86 overall. He got injured for 1 week. When he came back, he was at 80 overall. And, it's now 3 weeks after that and he's still at 80. Will he ever get back to where he was previously?? I had Steven Davis on the bench because his rating plummeted apparently because he's getting old. Time to bring him back into the starting lineup and put Foster on the bench...

I think it is because their injury is not 100% healed. He is listed as "probable" ?

No, he's not injured anymore. It's been a few weeks since he came back from injury.
