Question regarding sells #s
Anyone else notice the banner adds of Madden displaying over 5 mill. Madden players. I was wondering if those numbers are squewed somehow. My example well my question is are those numbers are from cusumer bought numbers. I'm questioning EA numbers and do they take in the account copies on BlockBusters rental shelves. My question is does all copies for rent at BlockBuster count as copies sold. I'm thinking they do because their pen copies of the game. If that is true then the numbers EA posted are inflated. I'm just calling in question the legitmacy of these numbers. If you go to any video rental chain store you notice EA's copy of games out weigh every other product on their store shelf. I hope some can enlighten me on this subject. Thanks
