Trouble creating a playbook

I tried to create a playbook last night, and I guess I'm missing something. I quickly exceeded the maximum packages. I mean I went WAY over the limit.

I know what a package is, but exactly how is the game counting them? It would add one to my package total every time I added a play from the same formation.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

When you want to add a formation, just click on one play and add it to your playbook. It will register as adding only one formation. Then you can click on the rest of the plays you want to add, and add them all at the same time.

If you try and add a bunch of plays in a formation all at once, it registers as adding multiple formations. Just a glitchy thing that's easy to work around.

I find it a lot easier to build on an existing playbook. It is a lot easier and you can always delete plays.

Especially this year: trying to sift thru plays in team playbooks that aren't in the same order anymore. And last year there was a bug in the created books. Every once in a while all eleven D players would blitz at once. I saw it happen three times in one game a couple of times. I don’t know if that’s been fixed this year.
