favorite play book

What is everyones favorite playbook and why? i would like to know because i am looking for a playbook to use. thanks

heres what i do know

i happen to be a defensive minded player/coach so i focus on the D-

On D it is important if you want to run mainly a 4-3 defense or a 3-4 defense.
once in a rare while a team uses the bear/4-6 as its main offense but not usually and i am not sure if any team has a great set of bear plays (maybe the bears?)


teams with both the 3-4 and the 4-3 Cowboys,Jets,Raiders(and i think WestCoast also) - you get versatility here

3-4 defense teams - chargers,patriots,ravens,steelers Maybe missed a couple? 3Lineman - 4Linebackers


4-3 defense teams - the rest of the teams not mentioned .
4Lineman - 3Linebackers


I happen to like the 3-4 and my favorite pb is the patriots because they have a variety of zone blitzes.


altho one thing to like about the 4-3 is that in the nickle and dime formations they have 4 lineman = I kind of prefer that so they aren't so weak against a run , but i think all the 4-3 teams have 4lineman and the the 3-4 teams have 3lineman for the nickle and dime. Not sure about boys,jets,raiders..



thats all i know , some people will want to take a completely opposite approach and look for an OFFENSE that fits their style.
Some teams have better passing plays and a more wide open offense and others may have a more conservative power running game....
