Problem substituting
I was wondering if anyone had a solution to this problem:
I was playing with the Cardinals on defense. My strong safety is injured, and since there is no depth in the DB position, they automatically substitute a LB into the Safety position. Since the LB couldn't keep up with the receivers, I decide to substitute by formation and insert one of my wide receivers into the safety position.
My safety returned the next week after the minor injury and he had 100% health. I have no injuries on my injury list, and his name shows up on all the depth charts(in the general depth charts, as well as the "substitute by formation" charts). The problem now is that I can't get my wide reciever off the defense. It's like he's stuck in the strong safety position. My strong safety who was previously hurt will occasionally be substituted in as a cornerback, but I can't put him back in his original strong safety spot although the charts say otherwise.
Does anyone have any idea of what is going on?
