My Ideal Online Conditions (non-ESPN league)

8-10 minute quarters
*EQ "ON"
*All-Pro
*Coverage, pursuit and tackle up 3 clicks (human & cpu)
*Injury down 1 click; Fumble up 2 clicks; INT down 2 clicks
*Penalties turned up 5 clicks or more (save for pass inter. & face mask)
*Fatigue @ first hash mark on the left
*Kicking down 7-10 clicks
*Offense walks to the line of scrimmage; gives time for D to set up players (unless hurry up situation)
*If you put a man in motion, he goes all the way across the Oline or to the end of the line on the same side, not back and forth just to check if D is in a zone vs. man
*Calling a Hot Route during a run play is fine; type of audible fake
*The other "understood"/no-cheese after-snap offensive sim type play
*No shoulder charge by HB's; shoulder charge 1x only by FB's & TE's
*QB runs (not slides) only on a QB sneak or if a side is COMPLETELY open
*No Dline control unless dlineman breaks through and pursues QB
*No manual LB or CB blitzes
*Take manual control of receiver and DB during pass

Why think of them as restrictions versus creating conditions to emulate the real game. Teams don't run up to the line of scrimmage every play and immediately hike the ball....they often put guys in motion.... the shoulder charge is ARCADE level effective as everyone knows.....I really shouldn't have to speak to the other things.

I play sim too, but I'm talking about creating an NFL type game feel.

....oh, and I stepped on the crickets! lol

The only thing I don't do on a regular basis is Take manual control of receiver and DB during pass.. Shoulder charge is lame.. I usally spin & juke..

ya, i know that's a preference thing.... i guess it's just a matter of trying to make the play all the way around. Playing DB is very tough to get a grip on sometimes.
