Re: Community Update...interested?

I'm in, just let me know what's needed. The holidays are a busy time but I'll make the time. If there is a certain division/team that no one wants I'll take them.

I'd really like to update the Vikings but I have a feeling that Chew has that one wrapped up already.

I must say Nick you sure know how to peak a guys curiosity and I just had to read over that very well put together file over at your site very, very impressive and just the kinda info that makes working on 2K projects so well worth the time and effort in most cases.

In any case I'll be watching to see what your next move will be on this seems a few guys are still interested after all including yours truley.

Holla Back y'all

I'm in Nick. I'll watch over the Browns.

I'm also going to make a franchise save the day of the draft, that will have the first day done for every team, and i'll probably use the Chewover roster as the base. But thats still months away. So lets just keep them as accurate as possible through the offseason.

I'd be more than happy to manage Indianapolis or the entire AFC South if need be. Hopefully with this update we can actually do updates of player stats instead of just movement? Some things never seemed quite right, especially the Colts defense.

Well, I agree with Nick having 3 or 7 other guys to manage 1 or 2 divisions to do moves, though this in and of itself is a management nightmare because you can't merge files and therefore you're asking guys to pass around 1 file meaning everyone is gonna wait for the previous guy.....not the most efficient way to do it. I think moreso your post speaks to something Nick might benefit from and that being "talent scouts" per se. General attribute changes should always be left to the discrepancy of the roster maker, especially the ranges of given attributes for given positions, as Nick has done. But if he could be fed information about individual players going significantly up or down because of a proven trend in that player, that could be beneficial. The most obvious recent change would probably be Larry Johnson, but even then you have to be objective and ask, is it that LJ is that good or is it because he has that particular line to run behind? Obviously all of this is not an exact science.
