ps2 pal user needs hand held...

Well i finally lashed out and got myself a maxdrive so I could download updated rosters, now being a ps2 pal version of nfl2k5 and reading that these rosters work, I cant seem to get the file recognised while in game.
I made sure the file was uncrushed and showed up on the memory card while using action replay, but still no show.there is a post here where step by step instructions were shown and i followed them exactly.
One thing i noticed was the size of the roster file standard was 600kb+ but the ones downloaded were 200+.
Any help would be kindly received.

Did you convert the file to pal as well?

You have to convert the file to Pal. PS2savebuilder can do that for you.

oh my, I didn't realise that, i've just downloaded ps2 savebuilder 0.8, is there much to it, i'll roam the forum for an answer and check back here later.

SUCCESS, after many searches and attempts i finally have updated rosters, and so begins my journey.

Thanks to rockhead, without your suggestion I don't know where I would be.
