first day madden came out i happened to be off from work and my friend and i went to Bestbuy to play Madden 10 on their big screens... we were there for a few hours and i really didnt like the gameplay. yeah it looked sweet but im stickin with 2K5. just cause 2K5 offers a lot more than the 60 dollar Madden.

what 2K5 has over Madden that mean something to me:
-Gameplay
-Presentation
-you can put the NCAA draft class into the game WITHOUT importing it with another
-You can play any year you want WITH the schedule
-2K5 has eyeblack, Madden doesn't
-no canned animations
-no timeshift tackling
-no suction
etc etc etc etc etc etc

i honestly hope that Madden keeps their exclusive deal forever, because then i can save 60 dollars every August.

That was almost like you only got to the light shade of grey side.At any rate,like me,it didn't take long to say 'that's not what my 2k5 would do'.The game has improved but there's still things you'd sooner see in a Three Stooges short than actual football.

I'm actually back to working on my rosters. I plan on playing madden sporadically online and using 2k for my simulation.

Does M10 suk as much as M09 did?

- do you have to wait like 2-3 seconds every time you change your menu selection?
- does the game play lag and delay while the commentary/on screen stats load?
- does the game clock STOP after every play, while commentary loads, and start back up when the playbook screen comes up?
- do receivers drop passes when they are WIDE OPEN in the flat, 10-15 yds away from your rookie QB?
- is your L1 receiver always on your right side? And the R1 on the left?

these are just a few of my favorite things...
