what they need to do is fix the agility for the older backs,, they took agility points away and never gave em back from 2k4 to 2k5.. they really suck when it comes to ratings

No,they are accurate.They use the exact 40 yard shuttle times to determine agility and 40 yard dash times for speed.They don't just come up with any number...they also do the same for strength(Bench press,quats) and arm strength(QB with one knee on the ground throwing it 50 yards)
