sliders and simming?

do sliders have anything to do with sim games? I simmed a season to see what the stat engine would come up with and it was a bit weird. qbs had a ton of tds and little picks. hardly any receivers over 1000 yards but qbs had a ton of yards. I simmed on 5 min quarters. Also, can wide receivers catch the ball? I played with catching all the way up as the pats with updated rosters and had 6 drops in the first quarter. 3 by moss while wide open. what is the deal?

Re: sliders and simming?

They don't seem to have any effect on simming games. This is the same even if you start the game and sim to end, which is a shame.
