3-way trades in Yahoo

Has anyone ever pulled off a 3-way trade in a Yahoo league? I know it can't be done directly but am curious how things worked if you have. Did all three teams contact the commish to ensure that nobody backed out at the last minute? Was your commish willing to work with review period timelines? Anybody run into an issue of a trade deadline potentially interfering?

I think I have a good 3-way deal set up but the issues that I'm running into are that our trade deadline is Friday and there is a 2-day review period. If both guys agree to it today, it might be able to have all of the necessary steps done before the deadline without any commish interference but otherwise, it would require the commish to cut down on one of the review periods or manually make the moves after the deadline. As long as all three teams agree and the league has their veto period, I don't see that as an obstacle. Then again, I want it to happen so maybe I'm biased.

I personally think a three-way trade is a bit unfair, but I suppose if everyone agreed to it and if no team was getting an obvious advantage it would be fine.

I don't see how a three-way trade is inherently unfair...could you explain?

I haven't seen any happen, but I don't see why it would be an issue. Like you said though, the review period is the biggest issue since you have to wait before you can get the 3rd team involved in the trade until the 1st trade has processed.

Well, the good news is that I got approval from the commish to make it happen so, as long as the concept is approved by the deadline, it should be ok. If this happens, I'll let you know how it goes. Never worked a three-way trade before so this is interesting...
