Re: Official "Who To Start" Thread

Okay, never thought I would have this problem:

Tom Brady @ Buf or Aaron Rodgers @ SF?

I wouldn't use that logic with those two, to be honest. Randle is a 3 in an offense that will run a lot of 3 WR sets. Similar examples (offensive style, not necessarily talent) would be James Jones and his 10+ TDs last year in GB or Stokley's 1000+ yards in Indy in 2004. Meanwhile, TY Hilton is going to get plenty of time for Indy. He and DHB had about the same amount of looks in the preseason even with DHB being listed as #2 (it's been said that's more because he's a very good run blocker which brings more versatility).

That wasn't to say one or the other for this week, just that I would never decide between the two of them using that to break a tie. Personally I really like DHB's match up this week so that's where I would go.

Poor drafting there... and I think the answer is obvious considering the opponents.

Brady easy.

Ideally you solve that problem by unloading one of them on a team that has a QB that lays an egg in week 1 or even after first 2 weeks when an owner starts to panic.

Last year I had Rodgers and got Matt Ryan late, I was able to flip Matt Ryan for Julio Jones (they had Rivers as their only QB) so if Brady and Rodgers play as capable I'm sure you can pawn one off on someone.

I did the same thing.. got Ryan for $12 in an auction draft and ended up trading him and Cedric Benson for AD.

PPR league

Owen Daniels vs SD
Zach Sudfeld vs BUF

Leaning towards Owen Daniels but it's a tossup at this point.

I think Sudfeld will get more targets.
