The Wolverines Dominate Again

The Wolverines dominate yet another game, this time taking down the New Mexico State Aggies.

The Wolverines offense looks like they could be more powerful than ever. All three Michigan QBs ended up throwing touchdowns. Michigan running back Frank Alley rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Nick Henderson had 104 yards and a touchdown.

The defense looks just as dominant. Dorian Gesicki had 11 tackles. Dillon Childress had 3 sacks. Matt Curtis had 2.5 sacks. And De'Angelo Rawls recorded 5 tackles and 2 interceptions taking one back to the house for 6.

Michigan has a bye week coming up. Then they welcome Notre Dame to Ann Arbor for another chapter in their long standing rivalry.

Re: Hail to the Victors | A Michigan Wolverines Dynasty (EA College Football 25)

Rivalry Renewed

Notre Dame started the game off by handing Michigan a three-and-out, and then going to the air to score the game's first points. Michigan looked stunned, but was able to fight back, holding Notre Dame and finally being able to move the ball.

After halftime it still looked to be anyone's ballgame. But in the fourth quarter when Notre Dame scored and looked to be making it a tie game, Michigan blocked the extra point. Then on ND's next drive, they threw a costly interception to "Mr Pick Six" De'Angelo Rawls, who took it back to the house for a touchdown.

Michigan's running back Frank Alley only recorded about 60 rushing yards, but was able to put the ball in the endzone on four separate occasions.

Michigan and Notre Dame will look forward to locking horns once again next year, with the game taking place at Notre Dame Stadium.

Next week Michigan opens up Big Ten play against the Purdue Boilermakers in West Lafayette.

The Wolverines Open Up Big Ten Play with a W

The Boilermakers came out first driving down the field, but hitting a brick wall in the red zone, although they were able to put three on the board and take the lead 3-0.

The Wolverines offense however was too much for the Purdue defense. After taking a 7-3 lead, Michigan defensive back Binjimen Winston was able to pick the ball off in the end zone and take it back 100 yards for a touchdown.

Later on the game, Binjimen did the same thing, but this time for for 58 yards.

Michigan's next game is against the Golden Gophers in Ann Arbor for the Little Brown Jug.

Scoring Wolverines:
Frank Alley | 16-yd TD run
Binjimen Winston | 100-yd INT return for TD
Frank Alley | 10-yd TD reception (from James Foster)
Jerry Wetzel | 6-yd TD reception (from James Foster)
Binjimen Winston | 58-yd INT return for TD

Michigan Keeps the Little Brown Jug

In the beginning of this game, the Wolverines did not look like the three-peat National Championships. They couldn't move the ball against the Golden Gophers, who went ahead 7-0.

Michigan was finally able to make some plays, relying on guys such as tight end Jerry Wetzel, running back Frank Alley and their defense. Speaking of defense... the Wolverines picked the Minnesota offense off four separate times. De'Angelo Rawls, James Vick, Dorian Gesicki and Nick Incognito all recorded interceptions.

The Golden Gophers looked to be gaining some momentum in the third, but Michigan held them to a field goal.

Scoring Wolverines:
Leslie Heflin | 1-yd TD run
Frank Alley | 1-yd TD run
Franke Alley | 1-yd TD run
Leslie Heflin | 1-yd TD run

Re: Hail to the Victors | A Michigan Wolverines Dynasty (EA College Football 25)

Unfortunately, Michigan Wolverines tight end Jerry Wetzel went down in the Minnesota game with a torn pectoral. He will be out the remainder of the season.

Wetzel had recorded 16 catches for 199 yards and 4 TDs on the season. He is a senior, so this is most likely the end of his college career.

In his career at Michigan, Wetzel has recorded 132 receptions for 1,574 yards and 14 touchdowns. He averages 11.9 yards a catch. He has played in 53 games for the Wolverines.

They’re not even ranked. Rutgers is ranked higher than them. Lol
