That was one thing I hated about being in the MAC with Ball State, any conference game felt like an automatic win.

Looks like the early betting favorite should be FIU vs OSU part deux
What has been weird for me this year is both Notre Dame and Penn State where home games.. I knew Nebraska would be tough on the road. and I sorta assume that Wisconsin will as well.. Notre Dame did a great job stopping the run.. I probably should've tried forcing a few more Deep balls to try and force their LB's to play black. Penn State on the other hand basically was like screw the run we are going to just sit back and try not to let them beat us deep. I got lucky that Alexander turned a 12 yd pass into a 72 yd score. but other then that, I think my biggest play was under 40 yds on the day.

It will be interesting to see how the playoff bracket plays out.. I will be curious to see if they end up on opposite sides or not or if we might see a rematch in the Semi Finals instead.

Right now it looks like it will be a FIU/Miami rematch for the ACC title.. FIU dropped to #4 with the "Bye" Week and currently both Virginia and Georgia Tech have dropped out of the Top-25 so at this point unless Georgia or Ohio State loses, we could see a #2 vs #4 matchup and if FIU is still #4 and loses, they could be playing Round 1. Right now it looks like it's probably going to be either Oregon or Washington in the Big Ten title game for Ohio State. Wire is gone and graduated, so party of me hopes I play the Ducks again for the title, especially cause it could be their 3rd loss and keep them out of the playoffs all together but we will see. Right now we are all 4-1 in Conference play..

Man, Deuce. Great job on the recruits. You pretty much have offense locked down for the next 4 to 5 years, depending on if you redshirt or not. Guess with what you have signed so far will allow you to focus on defense in the portal or next season. I ha e always tried doing that with my recruiting. Focus on 1 side each season. uckeyes are looking good, man. People are going to regret visiting the horse shoe for years to come now.

Thanks. Yeah offense looks really good.. I have my entire RB returning next year so Dubois and Te'o will most likely Redshirt. I also only have 2 starting 0-Lineman graduating so right now all 3 of those guy's will likely get a Redshirt season.. I have 2 5* Tackles I redshirted last year so I can't imagine the new guy's will be rated higher.. Typically my rule of thumb is unless the guy is the highest rated at a position or unless I just don't have the depth and they are going to be a key backup I try and redshirt them to get max boost in their Overalls by the end of the career. I could see one of the 2 WR's potentially making the Top-5 WR spots and well in public I might say there will be a open QB competition, I am like 99% sure the job will go to De La Rosa.. I will probably encourage Redziniak to transfer as well as 1 or 2 of the current 4* guy's potentially that are redshirting. That would give me Ledford as my #2 and a Senior, Sampson as my #3 who would be a RS JR and then whatever 4* Guy I keep as my #4.. I could then bring in a QB in next year's class to take Ledford's spot on the roster and he could redshirt well Sampson steps into the #2 role.. That's typically how I like to try and keep the QB room. 4 to 5 guys with the redshirting guy typically replacing one of the Top-3 after graduation and then the next guy up.

As far as the rest of this class. I still have 16 guys on my Top-25 Board unsigned.. 5* Tyler Bail is the only guy who could end up on the Offensive side of the ball.. The other 15 guy's are all Defense.. I actually didn't realize I still have 1 more 5* guy in DT Clay Hamm the #12 Overall and #2 DT. He is from South Carolina so I am battling Clemson as well as Tennessee but I am leading and he still has a Week 12 visit scheduled with me. I got (3) 4* DT's and a 3* on the list as well. I might pull 1 or 2 of the scholarships if the other guy's sign. I typically like to keep around 4 DT's on my roster sometimes 5 if I plan on redshirting a guy.

So this class still has a chance to fill alot of my Defensive needs as well. My current CB room has 2 JR's and 3 Sophomores, so that is a position I would like to try and find 1 or 2 guy's in the Portal and a spot I would hit hard next year. I also need to land a few more DE's.. Typically I try and keep 6 guy's on my roster. 4 active and 2 redshirting. Right now I only have 4 and 1 of them just hit the IR for the next 21 weeks. I forgot to update my Injury report but guy's are dropping like fly's.

BUCKS DROPPING LIKE FLY'S

*I forgot to update my injury report after the Penn State game, but Injuries are hitting the Buckeyes hard.. If anyone has ever dreamed about playing college football, now is your chance. Coach Miller is probably going to need to hold open tryouts.. With only 75 players on this year's roster the depth was already weak in certain spots.

JR DE John Quintero (82) is out for the next 21 weeks with a Fractured Shoulder Blade.. OSU already only had 4 DE's active as it was and now we are down to 3. OLB/DE SO Raakwon Selvia (75) was 3rd on the depth chart but he is still out for another 9 weeks (season) with a Compound Foot Fracture and SO DT Ethan Saharra (81) is joining them as he is out 7 weeks with a Hamstring Tear.

The D-Line continues to get hit hard as True Freshman Cole Small (75) also hits the IR for the next 7 weeks with a Dislocated Hip. With both Saharra and Small out, Ohio State only has 1 active DT on the roster (SR R. Stromberg) leaving backup DE True Freshman Cortez Sumner currently as the backup DE and the #2 DT on the roster.

Word on the street is several of the Buckeyes O-Lineman are currently practicing and will most likely be forced into service. (They are all like 35 Overall)

Starting MLB SR Warren Tyron (86) hits the IR this week with a Hamstring Tear that will keep him out for the next 6 weeks.. There is hope he will return at least for the Big Ten Championship and playoff run.. The Marshall Transfer was leading the Buckeyes in tackles with 37.

For now RS SO Jose Giguere (82) will step into the starting role with RS FR Stan Hoffman (76) stepping in as the backup MLB and OLB #3. If another injury hits the LB room, Coach Miller will likely be forced to pull the redshirt off 5* Recruit Eric Clemons.. Reports are Clemons will most likely see the field for at the last 4 games of the season anyways..

True Freshman and Starting SS Greg Robinson (80) is out for the next 11 weeks with a Dislocated Hip meaning he will most likely not return this season unless its for a deep run in the playoffs.

Robinson a 5* Recruit was named one of the Team Captains this spring and had recorded 23 Tackles so far this season..

With his backup SO Paul Barnhardt (80) already on the IR and out for the next 7 weeks with a Dislocated Hip, OSU is down to 1 active SS.. RS FR Paul Schofield (77) is now the starter, with backup FS Ronnie Darliek (78) they key backup at both safety spots.
