McAlister out for the season

The reported injury that CB McAlister suffered during the Miami game was Lis Fanc Foot puttig him out for the season. Samuel is expected to be moved up to starting CB and DeJuan Tribble to 2nd.

Ravens have signed CB Demario Minter to take the nickelback position.

Rookie get the award

Rookie CB DeJuan Tribble was award the AFC defensive player of the week. He finished with 4 tackles and 2 INTs against the Miami Dolphins after McAlister went out with an injury. This is a good sign for both Tribble and the Ravens. They lost McAlister for the season and expect Tribble to step up to be the new #2 CB, though it is unlikely he'll make an impact of that of McAlister they hope he will be a force to reckon with.

Re: New Begining in Baltimore (Head Coach 09)

Lisfranc joint injuries are rare, complex and often misdiagnosed. Typical signs and symptoms include pain, swelling and the inability to bear weight. Clinically, these injuries vary from mild sprains to fracture-dislocations. On physical examination, swelling is found primarily over the midfoot region. Pain is elicited with palpation along the tarsometatarsal articulations, and force applied to this area may elicit medial or lateral pain

OAK ??-?? BAL

1st Quarter

28 yard FG by Gostkowski is good.

2nd Quarter

Russell throws a 18 yard TD pass to Miller for a score.

Yamon Figurs is stripped of the ball on the return and Raider recover on the BAL 29. Heap is hurt on the play, pending x-rays.

Raiders attempt a 28 yard FG and Janikowski nails it.

3rd Quarter

15 yard FG is good for Janikowski.

Ravens connect on a 35 yard FG.

4th Quarter

Pitch pass to LaMont Jordan, he’s stripped of the ball and Samuel recovers on BAL 20.

Janikowksi his a 41 yard FG.

1 yard TD rush by McGahee.

Ravens get the ball with 1:26 left.

Ravens on OAK 38 with 10 seconds left, just outside Gostkowski’s range, they run a inside run and lose 2 yards. Would be a 57-Yard FG attempt, they go for it the TD.

The whole Ravens offense is blocking except Mark Clayton, he runs a streak. 5-step dropp from a shotgun position by Smith and he launches. Clayton is double covered but he leaps..

Injury-prone Ravens?

Willis McGahee and Bart Scott will miss this weeks game against the Browns with a sprained ankle and back-up TE Mike Peterson will miss 1-2 weeks with a broken wrist.

Heh, Mike Peterson was always injured for me after I drafted him.
If you keep winning, you'll probably end up getting a bye.
How has the Redskin's defense been working for you?
